Job summary

USA Wood Door in Howell, MI is seeking a 1st shift production worker to perform staining, finishing, and assembly tasks in a manufacturing setting. You will follow SOPs, inspect operations, load and unload doors, and operate production equipment.

Ideal candidates have at least one year staining/finishing experience, can use hand and power tools, and must pass a background check and drug screen. The role offers pay from $18.50 to $22.50 per hour with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation machine inspections and document findings.
• Follow written work instructions and SOPs to perform routine tasks.
• Handle door slabs and load and unload machines using manual and lift assist methods.
• Sort and stack doors as needed for staging inbound or outbound in production.
• Sand, stain, paint, prime, and prep door slabs during production.
• Utilize pneumatic, mechanical, electric, and hand tools to perform tasks.
• Ensure product passes quality assessment checks.
