Job summary

Forte Opening Solutions is seeking a production helper to stain, finish, sand, and prep door slabs in a fast-paced shop. You will follow SOPs, mix stains, and operate basic production equipment while maintaining safety standards.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and familiarity with hand and power tools. Work hours are days, Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• One year of staining, painting, or finishing industrial products.
• Custom mixing and matching stains and paint colors.
• Operating computerized production equipment in manufacturing.
• Kneeling, squatting, stooping, twisting, and standing for extended periods.
• Work with products up to 50lbs throughout the day.
• Experience with hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation machine inspections and document findings.
• Follow written work instructions and SOP's to perform routine tasks.
• Handle door slabs and load and unload machines using manual methods or lift assist equipment.
• Sort and stack doors for staging inbound or outbound in production.
• Sand, stain, paint, prime, and prep door slabs during production.
• Utilize pneumatic, mechanical, electric, and hand tools to perform tasks.
• Ensure product passes quality assessment checks.
