Position Title: Stain/Paint Sprayer Wage: $20.00-$22.00 per hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm (Mon-Fri) Join a skilled finishing team where quality craftsmanship and attention to detail make a visible impact.
This is a 1st shift position in O'Fallon, MO.
Stain/Paint Sprayer Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Apply stains, paints, sealers, and other finishes using manual spray equipment.
- Prepare materials and surfaces for finishing by cleaning, sanding, masking, or inspecting as needed.
- Mix and prepare coatings according to product specifications and manufacturer guidelines.
- Adjust spray equipment to achieve proper coverage, finish quality, and material efficiency.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications.
- Touch up, rework, or refinish products as needed to maintain quality expectations.
- Clean, maintain, and troubleshoot spray equipment to ensure proper operation.
- Monitor material usage and notify supervisors when supplies need replenishing.
- Maintain a clean and organized spray booth and work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures when handling paints, stains, solvents, and finishing materials.
- Work closely with production personnel to meet daily production schedules and quality goals.
Stain/Paint Sprayer Requirements:
- Previous experience using manual paint or stain spray systems is required.
- Candidates must have hands-on experience operating spray equipment and applying finishes manually. Experience only loading parts into automated or robotic spray systems is not sufficient.
- Previous experience in woodworking, cabinetry, furniture manufacturing, metal finishing, or industrial painting is preferred.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and finishing specifications.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce consistent, high-quality finishes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
- Reliable attendance and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
- Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
- Frequently bend, reach, stoop, twist, and crouch.
- Ability to use hands continuously for operating spray equipment and handling finished products.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to paint fumes, dust, noise, and varying temperatures while wearing required PPE.
