Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Jamestown, ND is seeking a Painter I to prime and paint detail parts and assemblies per specifications. The role requires operating paint equipment, maintaining gear, and following SOPs while preparing and curing topcoats.

Shifted hours are 4th shift: Fri–Sun 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Qualifications include a HS diploma or GED; basic computer skills; ability to read blueprints; and preferred experience with curing ovens and chart recorders.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Ability to interpret blueprints.
• Willing to work 4th shift (Fri–Sun, 6:00–18:30).

Responsibilities

• Prime and paint detail parts and assemblies to spec.
• Maintain paint equipment and mix paint.
• Follow SOPs and specifications.
• Prepare parts, mask and cure topcoats.
• Operate chart recorders.
