Job summary

Barnes Aerospace, Ogden Division is seeking a Painter to join its manufacturing team. The role requires applying surface prep and coating techniques on aircraft parts, using spray equipment and hand tools, while following strict safety and quality standards.

The position reports to the Production Supervisor and operates on 1st shift, 6:00am-3:30pm, Monday–Thursday with alternating Fridays. The ideal candidate has 5 years in manufacturing (aerospace preferred) and at least 2 years painting

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5 years of manufacturing experience, aerospace preferred.
• 2+ years painting aircraft parts.
• Ability to read and follow customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Paint aircraft parts using spray equipment and tools.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers.
• Mask areas not to be painted and maintain cleanliness.
• Mix and apply primers/paints according to color charts.
• Control curing and drying of coatings and maintain equipment.
