Woodfield Country Club in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a Painter / General Maintenance Technician to paint, maintain and repair surfaces across the facility and handle related tasks in plumbing, electrical, and carpentry. Must have 2–3 years of related experience and be able to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of documented maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Paint, maintain and repair surfaces throughout facilities.
• Prepare surfaces, mix and apply paints with brushes, rollers or spray guns.
• Install and repair wall coverings and surface finishes as needed.
• Maintain inventory of paints and related supplies.
• Perform related plumbing, carpentry or electrical tasks as required.

We are looking for a Painter / General Maintenance Technician who will be responsible forpainting, maintaining and repairing surfaces of the building, furniture, rooms and equipment throughout the facility as well asresponsibilitiesrelating to plumbing, electrical, carpentry,painting, andgeneral repair.

• Must have AM and PM availability
• Must be available for weekends and holidays

Responsibilities to include:

• Paint, maintain and repair painted, wall-covered, stained and varnished surfaces of building structures, rooms, furniture and equipment throughout the facilities
• Prepare and paint surfaces using techniques and tools including, but not limited to, measuring surfaces, applying spackle and plaster, mixing paint, matching paint and using brushes, rollers and spray-guns
• Install and repair covered wall and ceiling surfaces including, but not limited to, hanging vinyl paper, fabric and foil wall coverings
• Maintain and repair caulked, grouted, wood and masonry surfaces requiring staining, varnishing and lacquering
• Manage related supply inventory
• Additional duties as assigned
• Two (2) to three (3) years of documented work experience directly related to maintenance activities.
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Demonstrated proficiency in hand and power tools.
• Must be able to work flexible schedules which may include nights, weekends, and holidays
