Job summary

Woodfield Country Club in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a Painter / General Maintenance Technician to paint, maintain and repair surfaces across the facility, including related carpentry, plumbing and electrical tasks. The role requires 2–3 years of maintenance experience, strong hand/power tool skills, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

The position offers full-time hours on-site with a benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of documented work experience directly related to maintenance activities.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrated proficiency in hand and power tools.
• Must be able to work flexible schedules which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Paint, maintain and repair painted, wall-covered, stained and varnished surfaces of building structures, rooms, furniture and equipment throughout the facilities.
• Prepare and paint surfaces using techniques and tools including measuring surfaces, applying spackle and plaster, mixing paint, matching paint and using brushes, rollers and spray-guns.
• Install and repair covered wall and ceiling surfaces including hanging vinyl paper, fabric and foil wall coverings.
• Maintain and repair caulked, grouted, wood and masonry surfaces requiring staining, varnishing and lacquering.
• Manage related supply inventory.
• Additional duties as assigned.
