Painter & Decorator - General Maintenance

Salary: £25,719 per annum

Hours: Permanent 40-hour contract

What we need in a nutshell:

We need someone who will keep our accommodation and holiday park in top condition, ensuring high-standard painting inside and out. You will support our maintenance team with daily tasks and fix issues that arise, especially considering the unpredictable Cornish weather!

Who are we:

We’re a dynamic and growing company, transforming the British holiday experience at our award-winning UK resorts. Retallack Resort and Spa is a luxury spa resort and lively water sports hub set in stunning countryside near the North Cornish coast.

As part of our holiday hero team, you will assist the Maintenance Manager to ensure high standards in painting and decorating of our units and venues, along with supporting general maintenance tasks. Your responsibilities will include:

• Landscaping, paving, and fencing
• Painting, decorating, and tiling
• Maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, troubleshooting faulty locks, and key cutting
• Conducting maintenance checks and repairs on changeover days, collaborating with other tradespeople when needed
• Other duties as required to support the team

Guests and staff will rely on you to keep our units and venues looking superb and to fix issues promptly. You should be confident, friendly, and practical in your approach.

Note: Holidays may occur during holiday periods, so flexibility to work bank holidays, evenings, and weekends is essential.

Skills, experience, and qualities you’ll need:

We will provide training, but you should have:

• Strong experience in painting and decorating
• Ability to perform basic domestic repairs and maintenance
• Understanding of Health & Safety regulations
