Position Summary

Our property management company is seeking an experienced, deadline-driven professional Painter with great attention to detail and excellent time management skills. The Painter will be responsible for maintaining the paint condition in interior and exterior spaces across several residential properties in the North and West Suburban areas. Reliable transportation is required.

Pay: Up to $25/hr, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to commute
• Experience with painting, patching, drywall hanging, and surface sanding is a plus
• Excellent time management skills to complete projects on schedule
• Proactive approach, organizational skills, and attention to detail
• Knowledge of health and safety standards

Position Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting, including masking, drywall hanging, cleaning, scraping, sanding, patching, caulking, and covering objects as needed
• Use ladders safely and practice ladder safety protocols
• Complete paint jobs neatly and within deadlines, taking pride in workmanship
• Clean work areas and remove supplies after project completion
• Maintain inventory of tools, paint, and materials
• Store and dispose of paint responsibly as directed
• Report unsafe conditions to management
• Follow safety guidelines regarding hazardous chemicals
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Director of Maintenance & Facilities
