Job Summary

The Painter performs painting, finishing, and maintenance of interior and exterior surfaces and structures.

Essential Functions

• Prepare and prime surfaces for painting, removing old paint, filling holes and cracks.
• Clean walls and remove fixtures prior to painting.
• Apply paint, varnishes, and stains; paint ceilings and replace ceiling tiles.
• Replace floor tiles as needed.
• Work on ladders, scaffolding, and rigging to access difficult areas.
• Operate and maintain painting equipment safely.
• Document work performed using the computerized system.
• Follow all policies, standards, and codes, including HIPAA and conduct policies.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Texas Class C driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Preferred: High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
