POSITION SUMMARY

The Painter B position has the responsibility to work safely, maintain a positive attitude, be respectful to all and focus efforts and abilities towards building a quality product in the time allocated.

This position is responsible for assisting in powder coating boats and boat parts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Prepares parts for coating.
  • Follows principles and practices of powder coating.
  • Operates all coating equipment including guns, hoppers, and booth collection systems.
  • Observes machine gauges and equipment operation to detect defects.
  • Determines paint flow, viscosity, and coating quality.
  • Ensure all components are produced/coated efficiently and are consistent with company established goals.
  • Loads and unloads parts or product onto fixtures.
  • Maintains maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
  • ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.
EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
