Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Missouri is seeking a Lead Assembler to supervise and support safety, quality and on-time production. You will guide Outfitters, train staff, and monitor processes to ensure tasks are performed accurately and efficiently.

You will lead by example, help resolve conflicts, and contribute to SQDC metrics with a positive attitude and strong communication, while ensuring a quality product is built within the allotted time.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Years of experience: 1 year preferred.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with diverse groups.
  • Competent in math and basic problem solving.
  • Understands and can influence department processes.

Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY

The Lead Assembler position has the responsibility to work safely, maintain a positive attitude, be respectful to all and focus efforts and abilities towards building a quality product in the time allocated. The Lead Assembler role provides guidance, support, and motivation to their staff, manages conflict, monitors process, represents their team, and trains outfitters to ensure tasks are being performed accurately.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Assists supervisor, manages, guides, coaches, and adjusts work as needed to accomplish goal. Trains outfitters to ensure safety requirements are being followed Leads by example. Develops training for outfitters to understand responsibility and takt time. Identifies and help improve safety, quality, and delivery opportunities. Understands and ability to track SQDC metrics. ALL OTHER DUTIES ASSIGNED.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent Years of experience: 1 year preferred KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY: Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to interact with diverse groups Competent in math Problem solving skills Basic understanding of all department processes. Ability to influence and guide outfitters in the organization.
