Monarch Investment in Brooklyn Park, MN is seeking an experienced Apartment Painter to join our Maintenance Team. Responsibilities include interior/exterior painting, make-readies, drywall prep, and minor carpentry to prep units for new residents.

This full-time role offers quarterly bonuses, a 401(k) with company match, paid training, and comprehensive benefits. Work Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM, with opportunities for growth within Monarch Investment.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of professional painting experience.
• Experience painting apartments, residential homes, or commercial properties.
• Drywall repair and surface preparation experience.
• Basic carpentry skills.
• Basic electrical knowledge (switches, outlets, light fixtures).

Responsibilities

• Interior and exterior painting.
• Apartment make-readies and unit turns.
• Drywall repair, patching, sanding, texturing, and surface preparation.
• Wood staining, trim work, and touch-up painting.
• Minor carpentry repairs.
• Remove and reinstall outlet covers, light fixtures, and hardware.
• Caulking and final cleanup.
• Maintain paint inventory and supplies.
• Meet move-in deadlines with Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager.

What You'll Be Doing: As our Apartment Painter, you'll play an important role in preparing apartment homes for new residents while helping maintain the overall appearance of our community.

Responsibilities include:

• Interior and exterior painting
• Apartment make-readies and unit turns
• Drywall repair, patching, sanding, texturing, and surface preparation
• Wood staining, trim work, and touch-up painting
• Minor carpentry repairs
• Remove and reinstall outlet covers, light fixtures, and hardware
• Caulking and final cleanup
• Maintain paint inventory and supplies
• Work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager to meet move-in deadlines

What We're Looking For:

• 6+ months of professional painting experience
• Experience painting apartments, residential homes, or commercial properties
• Drywall repair and surface preparation experience
• Basic carpentry skills
• Basic electrical knowledge (switches, outlets, light fixtures)
• Bathtub or tile resurfacing experience is a plus, but not required
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to lift, climb ladders, and work indoors and outdoors
• Ability to work Monday – Friday from 8AM to 5PM
• $1 8 .00–$ 22 .00 per hour DOE
• Up to $3,000 annually in quarterly bonuses
