Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies is seeking an Aircraft Painter to prepare, mix, and apply paints to various parts in a shop environment. The role requires attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols while working with paint products and booth equipment.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of aircraft painting experience, with the ability to follow specifications and complete daily paperwork in a timely manner.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Essential Functions Statement(s)

• Must be able to mix and measure paint per specifications.
• Review work order and confirm mixed paint and part match, prior to painting in booth
• Clean parts as per specification Paint part according to specification and thickness
• Keep paint booth filters changed, booth FOD free and complete paperwork.
• Post paint inspection of parts for appearance and proper coverage.
• Able to paint effectively on different surfaces and metals
• Applies some advanced skills that allow employee to adapt and meet some complex or non-routine situations
• Observe safety regulations and wear protective masks and clothing during spray painting operations.
• Complete the paint daily checklist.
• Properly utilizes all PPE required under OSHA Guidelines.
• Maintains all paint equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
