Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies in Camden, AR is seeking an Aircraft Painter to apply and inspect paints on aircraft parts in a shop environment. You will mix and measure coatings, prep surfaces, and ensure finishes meet specifications.

The role requires attention to safety, PPE use, and ability to follow detailed procedures. Prior painting experience in aerospace is preferred, and high school/GED is expected.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in Aircraft Painting preferred.
• Experience following aerospace painting specifications is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to mix and measure paint per specifications.
• Review work order and confirm mixed paint and part match, prior to painting in booth.
• Clean parts as per specification; paint part according to specification and thickness.
• Keep paint booth filters changed, booth FOD free and complete paperwork.
• Post paint inspection of parts for appearance and proper coverage.
• Able to paint effectively on different surfaces and metals.
• Applies advanced skills to handle some non-routine situations.
• Observe safety regulations and wear PPE during spray painting operations.
• Complete the paint daily checklist.
• Properly utilize all PPE required under OSHA guidelines.
• Maintains all paint equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
