US Architect of the Capitol in Washington, DC is seeking temporary painters for the upcoming moves transition. Workers will coat furnishings and buildings using standard methods and finishing techniques.
Positions require a six-day work week with possible overtime and a need to meet all eligibility requirements by the closing date. Training/experience must demonstrate the ability to perform journey-level painting with appropriate supervision.
This position is located in the Architect of the Capitol (AOC), House Office Buildings and Senate Office Buildings, Painting Branch. The AOC seeks temporary Painters for the upcoming 120th Congressional Moves Transition.
Painters will use standard methods and special finishing techniques to perform coating work on furnishings and buildings.
This requires a 6 day a week schedule, and overtime may be required and in some instances it may be mandatory.
