Washington State University in Pullman, WA is seeking a Painter for Auxiliary Facilities Services. As a Painter for Auxiliary Facilities Services, you will perform semi-skilled and sub-journey-level work involving the maintenance, repair, remodeling, alteration, and construction of buildings, grounds, facilities, and equipment. You will perform floor laying and floor‑covering work and coordinate with other trades and crafts in support of new construction and remodeling projects. In this role, you may lead apprentices or helpers as assigned and will operate motor vehicles as required to complete work assignments.
This is a full-time (100% FTE), permanent position. This position is overtime eligible. Monthly Salary: $4,517 to $5,240 | Range 43G Steps G - M | Successful candidates are typically hired at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28. In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate’s current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.
