Job Description

Painters are responsible for performing blasting and painting using marine coating in accordance with specified contract requirements. They must understand blasting and painting specifications, including blast profiles, millage requirements, etc., and perform applications as directed by supervision.

Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a painter/blaster.
  • Ability to perform all blast requirements and functions using all applications.
  • Identify and correct blast and paint deficiencies as per contract specifications.
  • Testing will include hooking up airlines to the manifold and spraying in horizontal, vertical, and side-to-side directions.
  • Ability to sandblast and demonstrate proper use of blast equipment.
