Job summary

Westmor Industries, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Painter to join our Morris, MN manufacturing team. You will prepare surfaces, mix and apply coatings, and maintain the paint booth to ensure high-quality finishes on metal components used in production.

The role is suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced shop environment and takes pride in delivering clean, professional results. Day shift with competitive pay and benefits is available.

Responsibilities

• Surface Preparation: Remove rust, spatter, oils, and cutting fluids through sanding, cleaning, and wiping down steel components.
• Paint Application: Apply coatings to production parts and sub-assemblies using proper techniques to achieve smooth, even finishes.
• Equipment Operation & Care: Mix paints to correct specifications, set up and adjust spray equipment, and perform daily maintenance on painting tools and booths.
• Quality Assurance: Mask off non-paint areas, inspect completed work for defects such as runs or missed spots, and ensure all finishes meet company standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized paint booth and complete required production and quality paperwork.

Compensation

• The starting pay range for this position is $20-$24 per hour. Final compensation will depend on various factors including: skills, experience, and location.

Day Shift

• Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm
