Job summary

Industrial Louvers Inc. is seeking a reliable Painter to join our production team. The Painter prepares, paints, and finishes architectural metal products in line with company and industry standards to ensure appearance and durability.

The role requires ability to read work orders/technical drawings, maintain quality on a fast-moving line, and comply with respirator and medical requirements. We offer health benefits, PTO/holidays, and retirement plan options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year industrial or automotive painting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of painting techniques and surface preparation.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work at a fast pace, on a constantly moving production line.
• Painter is required to wear a respirator and candidate is required to pass a qualitative medical review and fit test.

Responsibilities

• Apply liquid paint to product surfaces in accordance with manufacturer and customer specifications.
• Reduce paint to in accordance with manufacturer product data sheets.
• Perform on-line quality control procedures.
• Perform color changes including, but not limited to cleaning paint guns, pumps and pressure pots.
• Maintain a clean working environment and participate in regular planned maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot common paint issues.

This positions plays a critical role in ensuring customer products meet appearance and durability requirements.

• Apply liquid paint to product surfaces in accordance with manufacturer and customer specifications.
• Reduce paint to in accordance with manufacturer product data sheets
• Perform on-line quality control procedures.
• Perform color changes including, but not limited to cleaning paint guns, pumps and pressure pots.
• Maintain a clean working environment and participate in regular planned maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot common paint issues.

Education, Experience and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of industrial or automotive painting experience preferred
