Job Title: Painter

Join MPB GARDEN BUILDINGS LTD as a Painter.

Position Overview: Support the goals of the Arizon Companies by providing expert assistance in industrial painting. Operate spray-painting equipment to apply protective coatings to manufactured items or structures.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces using abrasive blasting, high-pressure water washing, or wire brushing to remove grease, dirt, and rust.
• Monitor extractors, drying fans, and heaters.
• Mix chemicals to meet customer requirements.
• Spray coatings such as paint, lacquer, enamel, silver, or copper solutions onto products.
• Move items to drying areas, unload, and stack for further painting or packaging.
• Rub down painted items between coats and touch up defective areas.
• Clean nozzles, containers, and hoses of machines.

Work environment involves noisy factory or construction sites. Protective clothing, masks, and goggles are required when handling hazardous materials.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience with industrial or automotive spray painting.
• Experience painting large items is a plus.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Forklift experience is a plus.

Physical & Working Conditions:

• Ability to lift at least 70 pounds.
