Painter

Location: Hot Springs, AR
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour (Depending on experience)
Schedule: 2nd Shift

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Experience with spray painting, industrial coatings, automotive painting, or aircraft painting preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with manufacturing or maintenance environments
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production setting

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces and apply paint, varnish, enamel, lacquer, sealants, and protective coatings using spray guns, brushes, and rollers
• Mix and select coating materials according to specifications and production requirements
• Clean, disassemble, inspect, and identify aircraft components prior to painting or coating
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, work instructions, and planning documents
• Perform basic repairs and apply conversion coatings and sealants using approved methods and tools
• Complete production documentation and process forms in compliance with the Quality Management System
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
• Report any suspected unairworthy conditions to supervisors immediately
• Support team operations and participate in on-the-job training with senior technicians and mechanics
