Staffmark Group in Trussville, AL is hiring an Industrial Painter to apply liquid paints and coatings to metal parts using automated and manual spray equipment. You will set up, operate spray booths, mix paints, and ensure proper curing through the painting, flashing, and drying stages.

Qualifications

• Previous industrial, production, or automotive painting experience required.

Responsibilities

• Apply liquid paint, varnishes, and coatings to metal parts using spray equipment.
• Set up, operate, and perform touch-ups in automatic paint booths and spray systems.
• Clean and prepare paint booths before color changes using compressed air.
• Select and prepare paints and materials according to work orders.
• Manually paint hard-to-reach areas prior to automated painting.
• Mix paints and solvents while operating automated paint mixing equipment.
• Move parts through painting, flashing, and drying stages to ensure curing.
• Inspect finished parts and perform touch-ups to meet quality standards.
• Clean and flush paint delivery systems, maintain booth filters, and coordinate maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe work area; assist with other paint line operations.

Pay Rate: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
Shift: 3:30 PM - 1:30 AM
