CMGT is seeking an Onsite Painter for a condominium property in Baton Rouge, LA. The successful candidate will prepare surfaces, paint interior and exterior areas, and ensure color matches across finishes.

This role requires attention to detail, reliable transportation, and the ability to work independently while maintaining safety standards. The position offers PTO, holiday pay, health/dental/vision options, life insurance, a 401(k), and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Reliable transportation and a clean driving record are required.
• Current driver’s license and vehicle insurance are required.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills are expected.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching, and minor repairs.
• Paint interior and exterior common areas (trim, doors, railings, fencing).
• Match existing colors and finishes for a uniform look.
• Apply paint using brushes, rollers, and sprayers per manufacturer guidelines.
• Perform touch-ups and minor repairs as needed.
• Identify areas needing repainting during walkthroughs.
• Follow OSHA, HOA, and CMGT safety standards with proper PPE.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Communicate project needs to the Supervisor.

At CMGT, we’re proud to provide high-quality property management services while maintaining our communities to the highest standards. We’re currently looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Onsite Painter to join our team at a condominium property in Baton Rouge, LA.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching, and completing minor repairs.
• Paint interior and exterior common areas, including trim, doors, railings, and fencing.
• Match existing colors and finishes for a uniform appearance.
• Apply paint using brushes, rollers, and sprayers per manufacturer guidelines.
• Perform touch-ups, preventative maintenance, and minor drywall/wood/stucco repairs.
• Identify areas needing repainting or repair during routine walkthroughs.
• Follow all OSHA, HOA, and CMGT safety standards and use proper PPE.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
• Interact professionally with residents and communicate project needs to Supervisor.
• Maintain tools/equipment and track paint inventory for replenishment.
  
• Create work orders/service requests when issues are noticed.
• Complete daily duty sheets and arrive on time each day.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.

Physical Requirements
