Job summary

RISE Association Management Group in Houston is seeking a detail-oriented Painter to support one of our local properties. The role emphasizes interior and exterior painting and delivering clean, professional results.

This temporary, full-time position through August 31 offers 30–40 hours per week with flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, and requires 2+ years of painting experience, reliability, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 2+ years professional painting experience.
• Proficiency with interior/exterior painting, tools and materials.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform prep work: sanding, caulking, patching, masking.
• Apply paint, stain, and coatings to interior/exterior surfaces.
• Finish surfaces neatly according to standards.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace.
• Communicate progress and supply needs to leadership.
• Protect surrounding property from damage.
• Patch drywall and texture-match as needed.

Pay Range: $18.00 per hour

Employment Status: Temporary, Full-Time (through August 31)

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Painter to support one of our Houston-area properties. The ideal candidate has strong experience in interior and exterior painting and takes pride in producing clean, professional results.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform prep work including sanding, caulking, patching, and masking
• Apply paint, stain, and coatings to interior and exterior surfaces as assigned
• Ensure all surfaces are finished neatly and according to specified standards
• Follow proper safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment
• Communicate progress and supply needs to property leadership
• Protect surrounding property and ensure no damage to adjacent surfaces
• Perform basic drywall patching and texture matching where needed

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional painting experience
• Proficiency in painting techniques, tools, and materials
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Physical ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift/move up to 50 lbs

Schedule
