Job description

Join to apply for the Painter role at JLL.

Location: Atlanta, GA (Next to Airport)

Shift: 2:00pm-10:00pm (Tuesday-Saturday)

Pay: $23.00-$25.00/Hr.

The Painter supports operation, inspection, and maintenance processes at the facility. Responsibilities include repairing, protecting, and beautifying interior and exterior surfaces, providing painting and minor carpentry work, and assisting with maintenance and repair efforts. Due to the nature of the client's business, work may be required on Saturday or Sunday.

Role Responsibilities

1. Communicate with clients to determine their painting requirements and advise on project decisions.
2. Assemble scaffolding as needed.
3. Protect surfaces with masking tape, drop cloths, and other coverings.
4. Set up safety equipment like ventilators to ensure safety from fumes.
5. Prepare surfaces by washing, filling holes, and sanding.
6. Apply primer and sealers to surfaces.
7. Mix and match paints and finishes according to specifications.
8. Apply paint, stain, and finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers.
9. Maintain inventory of painting supplies.
10. Remove old finishes using appropriate tools.
11. Estimate time and material costs for projects.
12. Clean equipment and work areas.
13. Review and follow work orders and instructions.
14. Remove and reinstall fixtures as needed.
15. Follow safety rules and regulations.
