We are growing and looking for Paint Technician to join our team. DBG Arkansas, LLC is a full-service organization committed to providing our customers with exceptional quality, on-time delivery, and cost-saving opportunities. Our Conway, Arkansas facility includes metal stamping, forming, painting, and assembly operations, utilizing stamping presses, brake presses, roll forms, lasers, shears, and a multi-stage paint process. The company provides parts and sub-assemblies to customers across approximately 100,000 square feet of floor space with room for future expansion.

Description of Primary Responsibilities:

This role involves working with the Paint Process Engineer to support production painting activities, including checking system parameters, verifying process compliance, troubleshooting, and assisting in the operation of the plant’s paint systems.

Job Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience in vehicular painting.
• Experience with manual and automatic paint equipment.
• Experience in body repair, sanding, and taping.
• Proven ability with Elect-static Spray Guns.
• Knowledge of paint parameter checking.
• Ability to pass periodic Pulmonary Function Tests (PFT).
• Strong safety habits.
• Willingness to work overtime.

Essential Functions:

• Moderate lifting and carrying (15-40 pounds).
• Reaching and working above shoulder level.
• Use of fingers with both hands.
• Depth perception.
• Climbing using both legs and arms.
• Operating conventional and HVLP paint guns.
• Distinguishing basic colors and shades.
• Functioning while wearing all required PPE.

Additional duties include performing routine tests on materials, inspecting products visually for defects, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment. Certification as a Painter is preferred but not required.

Must be able to adapt to plant environmental conditions, including heat and cold, and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and climbing. Good reading, writing, and comprehension skills are necessary.
