Sample Registration Support Technician - 2nd Shift M-F

Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories Environmental is seeking a Sample Registration Technician in Lancaster, PA, on the 2nd shift.

The role involves:

• Handling receipt and unpacking of samples, recording temperatures, documenting discrepancies, organizing samples by project, transferring to Sample Administration for entry, and training new employees.
• Unpacking sample kits and coolers received at the lab.
• Comparing sample containers against client paperwork, documenting discrepancies, and lining up samples accordingly.
• Recording temperatures of environmental samples upon receipt.
• Contacting client service representatives or project managers regarding samples with temperature issues or damage.
• Notifying technical centers about short holding times or rush samples.
• Assisting in training and other duties as assigned, including cleaning and shipping preparations.

Work hours are from 4pm to 2:30am, Monday through Friday, with training from 9am to 5pm.

Ideal candidates possess:

• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail.
• Ability to learn new techniques, multitask, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and adhere to company policies.
• Ability to work independently and in teams, with self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude.

Minimum qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand/walk for a full shift.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or sponsorship.
• Proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
