Job summary

AriensCo is hiring a Paint Technician on 2nd shift at our Fayetteville, TN location. In this role you’ll prepare parts for painting by ensuring they are clean and ready for the next production step. You will operate the paint line safely, perform routine testing and line maintenance, and support additional projects as needed.

A high school diploma is required, and you must be able to stand for long shifts. Starting pay is $20.00 per hour with a $2.00 shift differential, Monday–Thursday, 3:00

Responsibilities

• Operate machines and tools safely.
• Perform conductivity, pH, titration, ultrasound, oil split, soil load, alkalinity tests.
• Test conductivity and hardness of RO water.
• Conduct routine washer maintenance (nozzles, bath dumps, etc.).
• Assist with routine paint line work (loading/unloading parts, painting) and special projects.

Job Description

AriensCo is currently hiring a motivated Paint Technician on 2nd shift at our Fayetteville, TN location! In this role, you’ll play a key part in preparing parts for painting by ensuring they are properly cleaned and ready for the next stage of production.

Pay

Starting at $20.00 + $2.00 shift diff.

Schedule & Shift

Monday - Thursday (4 nights x 10 hours); 3:00PM-4:30AM with OT as production dictates

The DAY TO DAY

Safe operation of machines and tools

• Conduct conductivity testing, pH testing, titrations, ultrasound testing, oil split and soil load testing and total & free alkalinity testing
• Test conductivity and hardness of RO
• Conduct routine washer maintenance (including nozzles, bath dumps, etc.)
• Willing/able to do routine paint line work (loading/unloading parts, painting, etc.) and special projects work

The QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of a High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• Previous powder/chemical application experience a plus but not required
• Able to problem solve effectively
• Strong language, mathematical, and reasoning ability

The WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Ability to stand for 10 hours a day
• Must be able to use hands to position parts in place
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds at varying frequencies
• Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment
• Desire for personal development and growth
• Ability to work as part of a team
