MasterMold is seeking a Paint Supervisor to lead a shift in the Johnson Creek Paint Department. You’ll drive daily production schedules, assign people and resources, and maintain safety and quality standards while coaching the team.
Ideal candidates show leadership, initiative, and ownership, with a willingness to learn paint processes and engage across departments to resolve issues and keep production on track.
MasterMold is looking for driven, hands-on leaders to join our Johnson Creek Paint Department as Paint Supervisors.
For this position, leadership matters. Previous manufacturing or paint experience is valuable, but we are also interested in candidates who demonstrate strong leadership ability, initiative, accountability, and a genuine willingness to learn.
You do not need to know every aspect of our paint operation on day one. We can teach processes and systems. We are looking for individuals who naturally engage with their team, recognize when something needs attention, take ownership, and follow through.
This is an active production-floor leadership position. You will be responsible for leading employees throughout your shift, maintaining production priorities, supporting quality and safety expectations, addressing employee concerns, and helping your team succeed.
As a Paint Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and execution of your assigned shift. Responsibilities include:
We are looking for someone who:
Previous supervisory, manufacturing, production, or industrial experience is preferred but not required. Candidates with demonstrated leadership ability and the drive to learn will be considered.
A successful Paint Supervisor does more than assign work.
We are looking for someone who is present on the floor, understands what is happening during the shift, communicates with employees, asks questions, addresses problems, and follows through.
The Supervisor should create an environment where employees understand what is expected of them and feel comfortable raising concerns, while maintaining appropriate accountability for safety, quality, productivity, attendance, conduct, and following established procedures.
We are currently considering candidates for both 1st and 2nd shift at our Johnson Creek facility.
Because this position directly supports production operations, flexibility may occasionally be required based on staffing, training, production demands, or other business needs.
Success in this position means taking ownership of your shift.
You will be expected to know your production priorities, understand where your people are assigned, recognize when the operation is falling behind or experiencing problems, and take action to get the team back on track.
You will also be responsible for developing your employees and Leads—not simply directing them. The goal is to build a team that operates safely, produces quality work, communicates effectively, and consistently meets expectations.
You don't have to walk in knowing everything about our paint process. You do need to walk in ready to lead, learn, engage, and take ownership.
