Job summary

The Pittsburgh Paints Company in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Store Sales Associate to deliver an exceptional customer experience in a fast-paced retail setting. You will assist retail and contractor customers with product selection, color matching, and order processing, and you will mix, tint, and match paints to meet customer specifications.

Reporting to the Store Manager, you will help drive sales, process payments across multiple channels, and support daily store operations while maintaining

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license required, must pass background items and physical.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.
• Ability to use a computer and keyboard for order processing.
• Ability to work scheduled hours, including flexible shifts.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds occasionally and 40-60 pounds routinely.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by understanding customer needs and recommending the right products and solutions.
• Assist retail and contractor customers with product selection, color matching, and order processing.
• Mix, tint, and match paint products according to customer specifications.
• Build knowledge of Pittsburgh Paints Company brands, products, and store processes.
• Process customer orders and payments through phone, in-person, online, and email channels.
• Support sales initiatives and contribute to achieving store sales goals.
• Load, drive, and deliver customer orders via company vehicle.
• Resolve customer concerns and escalated issues when needed.
• Safely handle, load, unload, and organize products for stocking and order fulfillment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment.
• Support daily store operations and team priorities as needed.
