Job summary

Pittsburgh Paints Co. is seeking a Store Sales Associate to deliver outstanding customer experiences in a fast-paced retail setting. You will assist both retail and contractor customers with product selection, color matching, and order support, while building knowledge of our brands and store processes.

Reporting to the Store Manager, you will help drive sales and maintain a clean, organized environment. The role pays $16/hour and requires working hours Mon–Fri 7am–5pm, Sat 8am–12pm, with

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license required, must pass background check.
• Customer service experience preferred with a team-focused approach.
• Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.
• Ability to use a computer and keyboard for order processing.
• Able to work flexible hours as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to operate a hand truck or material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by understanding customer needs.
• Assist retail and contractor customers with product selection, color matching, and order processing.
• Mix, tint, and match paint products according to customer specifications.
• Build knowledge of Pittsburgh Paints Company brands, products, and store processes.
• Process customer orders and payments through multiple channels.
• Support sales initiatives and help achieve store goals.
• Load and deliver customer orders using company vehicle.
• Resolve customer concerns and escalate issues when needed.
• Safely handle and stock products, maintaining organization.
• Support daily store operations and team priorities.
