Job summary

The Pittsburgh Paints Company is seeking a Store Sales Associate to deliver exceptional customer experiences in a fast-paced retail setting. You will assist both retail and contractor customers with product selection, color matching, and order processing, while maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Starting pay is $11.00 per hour and typical store hours are Mon-Sat 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with Sunday closed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license required; Category #4 preferred or may be obtained after hire.
• Must pass all background items and physical.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by understanding customer needs and recommending the right products and solutions
• Assist retail and contractor customers with product selection, color matching, and order processing
• Mix, tint, and match paint products according to customer specifications
• Build knowledge of Pittsburgh Paints Company brands, products, and store processes
• Process customer orders and payments in-person, online, and email channels
• Support sales initiatives and contribute to achieving store sales goals
• Load, drive, and deliver customer orders via company vehicle
• Resolve customer concerns and escalated issues when needed
• Safely handle, load, unload, and organize products for stocking and order fulfillment
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment
• Support daily store operations and team priorities as needed
