Job summary

The Pittsburgh Paints Company in Prosper, TX is hiring a Store Sales Associate to welcome wholesale and retail customers, mix, tint, and match paint to requests, and process orders. This full-time role reports to the Store Manager and requires a friendly, service-minded demeanor.

You will stand for long periods, lift up to 80 pounds, and work a day shift Monday–Friday 7:00 am–5:00 pm with some Saturday shifts; overtime may be required, and starting pay is $16.00–$18.00 per hour with weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record in the state of residence.
• Customer service skills with a team-oriented focus and stable job history.
• Available to work flexible retail hours including evenings, weekends, holidays, and possible overtime.
• Able to stoop, kneel, crouch, lift, and carry up to 80 pounds periodically and 50 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assess needs of wholesale and retail customers entering the store.
• Mix, tint, and match paint to customer requests.
• Safely move, load, and unload products for stocking, delivery, and order processing.
• Ensure the store is clean and stocked with paint and other products.
• Process orders and payments received in-person, by phone, online, or email.
• Use POS system to handle payments and cashier duties.
• May be trained to make local deliveries using a company vehicle.
