Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in the United States to work with the Store Manager to implement strategies across operations, customer service, marketing, and safety. You will help supervise staff, train personnel, and contact customers to generate sales leads.

The role offers a 44-hour week with potential evenings/weekends, eligibility for a bonus plan, and comprehensive health and retirement benefits.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum one year in retail, sales, or customer service; leadership experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in more than one language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support strategies to increase sales and profitability.
• Deliver excellent customer service and build product knowledge.
• Lead and train staff; supervise operations and scheduling.
• Perform store administration and maintain merchandising standards.
• Conduct outside sales calls with the Store Manager to grow market share.
• Ensure compliance with safety, loss prevention, and security policies.
• Resolve customer and employee complaints in a timely manner.
