Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company in Sequim, WA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to work with the Store Manager on planning and implementing strategies across customer service, merchandising, inventory, and store finances. You will help supervise staff and call on customers to generate sales leads, with a schedule of about 44 hours per week and potential for bonus.

The role emphasizes product knowledge, teamwork, and maintaining store standards while supporting outside sales and ongoing staff

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Must have at least a High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Support business strategies to increase sales and profitability.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through exceptional service.
• Build product knowledge to recommend effective solutions.
• Build relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Complete store administration and safeguard policies and safety.
• Maintain store condition and visual merchandising standards.
• Support employee training and performance management.
• Respond to and resolve customer or employee complaints.
• Partner with Store Manager to pursue outside sales opportunities.
