Job summary

TAIT is seeking a Paint Shop Process Lead to organize and direct a small team, ensuring quality products on time and within budget. You will be the main technical contact in the department, leading hands-on painting projects and SOP implementation.

Responsibilities include task organization, training, quality checks, and interdepartmental collaboration to refine processes and meet project milestones. A strong eye for detail and safety is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience with automotive and/or industrial coatings.
• Basic knowledge of paint equipment and paint-booth operation.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team to complete project goals on time and within budget.
• Organize workflow and assign tasks to team members.
• Answer technical questions and share skills for SOP adherence.
• Maintain quality control and flag design flaws with recommended fixes.
• Monitor schedules, provide progress reports, and adjust priorities as needed.
• Ensure proper labeling, materials management, and safety practices.
