Job summary

Superior Metal Technologies, LLC is seeking a dedicated Paint Lab Tec Lead with a strong focus on inventory control. This role manages material flow, maintains accurate paint inventory, and oversees labeling and sample creation in a fast-paced aluminum finishing facility.

The position emphasizes supervision of the lab team, safe handling of paints and solvents, and collaboration with production to meet daily requirements. 1st shift availability support is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with inventory control and lab operations is preferred.
• Ability to supervise a team and coordinate workflow in a paint lab.
• Familiarity with safety protocols in a chemical handling environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage flow of materials in the paint lab.
• Ensure accurate inventory levels and labeling of paints and supplies.
• Operate and maintain the paint auto-dispensing system.
• Prepare and label master, batch, and customer samples.
• Create and manage master production samples and color matches.
• Coordinate stocking and ordering of paints, solvents, and line supplies.
• Train and supervise lab team members and ensure on-time production.
