Job summary

TAIT in Lititz, PA is seeking a Process Lead, Cutting to organize and direct portions of complex manufacturing projects. You will be the main contact for technical questions within the department and will hands-on lead the day-to-day work with a small team.

You will read mechanical drawings, manage schedules, ensure quality, and coordinate with other departments to keep projects on time and within budget. Travel to TAIT facilities or client sites within the USA may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications a plus.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Experience with manual machine shop equipment (mills, lathes, industrial saws, routers).

Responsibilities

• Lead a small, diverse group to complete project goals and support collaboration.
• Organize and manage workflow; ensure team understands duties and tasks.
• Answer technical questions from team related to manufacturing tasks.
• Review quality, flag design flaws, and drive rework when needed.
• Read and utilize mechanical drawings; maintain schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate with other departments to refine needs and report progress.
• Capture labor hours and materials in Epicor; ensure safety standards.
• Maintain clean, safe workspace and proper labeling of products.
