Job summary

Sherwin-Williams Co. is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to support our store operations in Boerne, TX. You will work with wholesale and retail customers to determine needs, answer questions about products, and recommend solutions.

The role involves handling sales, maintaining product quality, and ensuring high customer satisfaction in a fast-paced retail environment. The position requires lifting up to 50 lbs, flexibility to work evenings and weekends, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: Must be at least eighteen (18) years old; legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship now or in the future; valid, unrestricted Driver’s License; ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally; must work evenings/weekends; internal Sherwin-Williams rating of meets expectations (3) and HR Cloud eLearning completion.
• Preferred Qualifications: High School diploma or GED; 1 year experience in delivery, retail or customer service; experience selling paint and paint-related products; experience operating tinting and mixing equipment; ability to read/write in more than one language, Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers
• Process sales transactions accurately and consistently with policies and procedures
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
• Maintain precise work order files and formulas
• Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse
• Tint and mix products to customer specifications
• Stock shelves and set up displays
• Clean store equipment
• Load/unload delivery trucks
• Assist in making deliveries, as needed
• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
• Comply with inventory control procedures
• Suggest ways to improve sales
