Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is hiring a Part-time Store Associate at Store #707126 in Longview, TX. You will assist customers, answer questions, and recommend products to meet needs, while maintaining store standards.

Responsibilities include processing sales, stocking shelves, tinting and mixing products, and supporting deliveries as needed. You’ll build trust with customers, strive to meet monthly and quarterly sales goals, and adhere to safety and inventory procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends.
• Internal Sherwin-Williams employees must have a 'meets expectations' rating on the latest performance review.
• Internal Sherwin-Williams employees must have completed HR Cloud eLearning courses for current position.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Process sales transactions accurately and consistent with policies and procedures.
• Follow and achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Pull appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse.
• Tint and mix products, as needed, to customer specifications.
• Stock shelves and set up displays.
• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition in assigned areas.
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options.
• Comply with inventory control procedures.
