Job summary

Benjamin Moore & Co in New York is seeking a Lab Technician to perform QC lab duties, manage process orders, and maintain lab equipment. The role supports color matching, gloss checks, and batch release activities during the M-F 2nd Shift.

You will follow safety guidelines, operate lab instruments, calibrate equipment, and collaborate with QC, Filling, Mixing and Shading departments to ensure product quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work in a team environment and flexibility to change duties and start times.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Performs QC lab duties and process order management.
• Follows safety guidelines and environmental/regulatory rules; uses required PPE.
• Maintains quality and cleanliness of the work area and equipment.
• Calibrates prescribed lab equipment and maintains laboratory readiness.
• Assist in scale up and watch batches.
• Perform and analyze laboratory tests and record data clearly.
