Job summary

General Motors Corporation is seeking a Paint Process Engineer for its Arlington, TX operation. This onsite role focuses on auditing and validating all painting processes for GM's full-sized SUVs. You will work with paint robots, circulation systems, air handlers, and ovens to ensure quality and efficiency.

The position requires a Bachelor's in engineering and 3+ years in manufacturing with robotics. Relocation benefits may be available; full-time, onsite at Arlington, TX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in manufacturing (robotic) environments preferred.
• Willingness to work 1st/2nd/3rd shifts, OT, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Maintain SFMEA, PFMEA and Control Plans and implement engineering changes.
• Troubleshoot painting process issues and optimize bake/paint recipes.
• Program robots and supervise a small team of process technicians.
• Lead continuous improvement projects in the paint area.
