Job summary

Truck Bodies & Equipment International (TBEI), a Federal Signal Corporation subsidiary, is hiring Paint Prep Operators for our Lake Crystal, MN facility. The role is on-site with four 10-hour days, and overtime potential on fifth day or Saturdays.

Starting pay ranges from $18 to $23 per hour, plus a $1000 retention bonus. Benefits and company-paid insurances are provided after employment begins.

• Ability to read and perform basic data entry.
• Good reading comprehension and attention to detail.
• Must be able to stand, kneel, and work in varied positions for extended periods.

Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and grinding truck bodies, hoists and fabricated parts.
• Elector cleaning stainless steel truck bodies and fabricated parts.
• Maintaining a clean work environment.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Ability to manually move product and materials up to 50 pounds through regular heavy physical exertion including, but not limited to, climbing, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling and bending. Use of overhead hoists requires ability to push and pull up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to stand, kneel, crouch, and work in various positions for several hours at a time; mostly on concrete, ladders and in dump bodies.
• Ability to read and perform basic date entry.

Additional Job Information:

• Wage Expectations: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
• Pay: This is a non-exempt, hourly position and employees are paid on a bi-weekly basis
• Typical Schedule: Four (4) Ten (10) hour days M-F, Overtime may be available on your 5th day of the week and/or Saturdays
• Location: On Site – 52182 Ember Road, Lake Crystal MN 56055
• Travel: Very minimal to none
