Job summary

Spudnik Equipment Company is seeking an entry-level Paint Loader/Unloader to prepare surfaces and hang parts for painting according to build plans and customer orders. You will load and unload from carts, locate components, and perform secondary inspections to ensure high-quality parts before downstream distribution.

The role requires physical stamina, reliability, and the ability to work in varied conditions both indoors and outdoors, with potential overtime to respond to production needs.

Qualifications

• Must be reliable and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks.
• Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in varied conditions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces to be painted and ensure proper paint adhesion.
• Load and unload product from carts during preparation, rework, and staging.
• Identify pieces from lists, dispatches, and drawings.
• Understand quality definitions and measurements for quality products.
• Perform secondary paint inspections and report defects.
• Coordinate with Lead Person to requisition equipment and materials.
• Operate handheld tools and equipment as required.
• Promote company values and safety practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
