Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a Paint Prep Laborer in Lake Crystal, MN to prepare vehicles for painting by assembling and disassembling them, sanding and scuffing surfaces, and performing daily maintenance on painting equipment. You will operate spray guns for bed liners and follow detailed work orders throughout the day.

The role requires 1 year of paint prep experience and involves working in a large shop environment with multiple buildings and garages, onsite only.

Work Environment

Work in a large job shop with multiple buildings and garages, similar to a truck dealership. Collaborate with painters, mechanics, and installers in a fast-paced environment. Your duties will include painting, fabricating, installing, welding, and interacting with customers in our showroom. Some responsibilities will take you outside to test equipment. Uniforms are supplied, and the facility includes 3 paint booths, a sand blasting station, and a mechanical/fabrication station where work is conducted on big municipal trucks, dump trucks, and large semi-trucks.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lake Crystal, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
