IES is seeking an entry-level Paint Prep to join our Paint Shop / Finishing team in Canton, OH. This role involves sanding, wiping surfaces, caulking and assisting in setup for the paint booth, with exposure to heights and ladders when needed.
You will work closely with the finishing crew to ensure top-quality paint adhesion, consistent finishes and timely production, while maintaining a clean, organized work area and following all PPE protocols.

Job Summary: We are looking for an Entry-Level Paint Prep to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals with manufacturing experience who are eager to learn the painting and finishing process. The Paint Prep will be responsible for preparing surfaces for painting by performing tasks such as sanding, wiping down parts, and applying caulk, as well as assisting in maintaining a clean and organized work environment. This role may also require working at heights using ladders.
