Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is hiring for a Manufacturing Operator to set up, run, and maintain equipment for filling and packaging products. You will work 3rd shift (Sun night to Fri morning, 11:00pm–7:30am), with a $0.40/hr differential and potential bonus based on performance.

Responsibilities include operating high-speed equipment, breakdowns, packaging, quality monitoring, and cooperation with multiple departments.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Preferred: 1+ year in manufacturing or distribution facility.
• Preferred: 1+ year monitoring gauges, dials, or machinery indicators.
• Preferred: 1+ year operating machinery in manufacturing/distribution.
• Preferred: 1+ year monitoring quality of raw materials/finished goods.
• Preferred: 1+ year operating packaging equipment (robotics, filling, case packers, labelers).
• Preferred: 1+ year using material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Operate paint making control systems and equipment (HSDs, filling machines, pumps, valves, robotics, case packers, labelers, forklifts).
• Breakdown and clean equipment including pumps, tanks, valves, and lines.
• Package and label filled containers to specs.
• Monitor raw materials and finished goods for quality.
• Comply with policies and SOPs.
• Keep equipment logs and report breakdowns promptly.
• Maintain production records and reporting as required.
• Collaborate with other departments to complete production orders on time.
• Monitor and replenish inventory of parts and supplies.
• Provide technical support and training to team members.
• Contribute ideas to improve procedures.
• Keep tools and work area clean daily.
