Job summary

Rust-Oleum Corporation is seeking a Machine Operator to safely package paint and related products by setting up and tending to packaging lines, performing QC checks, and adjusting equipment for quality and efficiency.

You will inspect products for defects, manage changeovers, monitor speeds and product flow, and ensure output meets specifications while following batch instructions. This role offers strong benefits and hourly pay in the market range.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with CNC operations is preferred.
• Ability to read batch cards and follow instructions.
• Basic math skills and ability to read meters and scales.
• Ability to input data into computer systems.
• Industrial experience is desirable.
• Good mechanical aptitude and teamwork ability.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and examine products for quality and packaging accuracy.
• Change over equipment and adjust machines to improve performance and quality.
• Set and adjust speed, temperature, product flow, and tolerances.
• Review job orders for quantities, production times, and BOMs.
• Monitor filling equipment to maintain specified levels and detect malfunctions.
• Operate equipment at efficient speeds to ensure quality and output.
• Maintain equipment performance and preventative maintenance.
