Job summary

Midway Products Group, INC is seeking a Team Leader for the 1st shift to oversee setup and safe operation of the department, coordinating production schedules and quality goals. You will lead and coach team members, maintain documentation, and promote teamwork and continuous improvement across the plant.

The role requires strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams including maintenance and management.

Qualifications

• Must pass required testing and interview process.
• High school diploma or equivalent; ability to pursue additional vocational training (Positive Leadership, Quick Die Change, Kaizen).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee setup and safe operation of the department.
• Organize department to meet production schedules and quality goals; coordinate efforts.
• Lead daily team meetings and coordinate rotation of job assignments.
• Promote teamwork, quality, and a safe work environment; ensure TS16949 compliance.
• Assist Area Manager in cost-saving ideas and implementation.
